Week 2 of the NFL preseason wraps up Sunday with a matchup between the Seahawks and Titans at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
FanDuel and DraftKings both offer DFS showdown contests for Sunday's single-game slate, with DraftKings featuring the $15 Showdown Special GPP and $20K to first.
Sunday Starting Lineups
Regular-season starters typically see limited action in the preseason, with youngsters and depth players taking center stage. However, the Titans are expected to play second-year QB Cam Ward and the rest of their starters for most of the first half Sunday, while Seahawks first-round pick Jadarian Price will likely see his first NFL game action. It's unclear if Seattle's more established starters, such as Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, will suit up.

Showdown DFS Roster Strategy
Both FanDuel and DraftKings have an MVP/Captain slot for showdown preseason slates, followed by five flex positions. Given that all players have the same salary, there is plenty of flexibility to simply pick the players projected to score the most points.
Teams typically rest key starters for the majority of preseason games, especially early in the preseason, so the strategy for preseason DFS contests centers on targeting youngsters or fringe roster players likely to see extensive playing time and make the most of it.
Since individual players rarely play for more than half the game, finding the optimal lineup often comes down to correctly predicting touchdown scorers, regardless of position. Defenses tend to be safe plays as they're the only ones that don't have to worry about splitting playing time.
Quarterback
Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe split Seattle's preseason opener. Even if Darnold plays Sunday, Milroe looks like the best fantasy option in Seattle's QB room. Darnold (90) and Lock (28) both have plenty of regular-season NFL starts under their belts, while Milroe still needs plenty of development as a 2025 third-round draft pick. Milroe also offers significant rushing upside, as he racked up 20 rushing TDs at Alabama in 2024.
Ward is expected to start for the Titans, but the 2025 first overall pick struggled in the preseason opener against the 49ers, completing just five of 12 passes for 57 yards. Will Levis should have easier matchups against depth defenders later in the game. Hendon Hooker could also see some action at QB for Tennessee, while Mitchell Trubisky (biceps) will likely sit out.
Milroe is a candidate for the MVP/Captain spot given his dual-threat skill set. Levis probably has the best mix of skill and situation, while Lock and Ward may find sledding tougher against players higher on defensive depth charts.
Running Back
Nicholas Singleton led the Titans with eight carries last week, and Tennessee's coaching staff will likely give the rookie fifth-round pick another sizable workload as the team evaluates his readiness to contribute to a backfield led by Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. Pollard and Spears should both get run with the starters, which is expected to amount to at least a few drives, while Michael Carter, Julius Chestnut and D'Ernest Johnson probably won't feature much until the second half.
Price is set to make his highly anticipated Seahawks debut after missing the preseason opener due to a lower-body injury. Seattle used the final pick of the first round on Price out of Notre Dame, and the rookie has the highest upside in this backfield. George Holani has been handling first-team snaps in practice and got 12 carries in the preseason opener. Zach Charbonnet (knee) and Emanuel Wilson (hamstring) are injured. Depth options Velus Jones, Jacardia Wright and Anthony Hankerson could factor in as well.
The rookies Singleton and Price are the most intriguing RB options in this matchup, though Spears also has some upside given his shiftiness and pass-catching prowess. Titans brass is more likely to manage Pollard's reps than Spears' considering Pollard sits atop the depth chart and has handled at least 275 regular-season touches in each of the past three campaigns.
Wide Receiver
Rookie fourth overall pick Carnell Tate dealt with some stiffness in practice this week, so it's unclear if he'll play for the Titans. Second-year pros Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike could both get plenty of opportunities as they try to play their way into meaningful regular-season roles. Veterans Wan'Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley are ahead of the two 2025 fourth-round picks on the depth chart.
Montorie Foster has turned heads in training camp for the Seahawks, and the Michigan State product was the team's leading receiver in the preseason opener, with five catches for 36 yards and a TD on seven targets. Foster got open for what would have been an additional 68-yard TD, but Drew Lock missed him with the throw. It's unclear if second-year pro Tory Horton will be available, while starters Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed are unlikely to play much. Rookie sixth-round pick Emmanuel Henderson should get plenty of run alongside Foster.
Dike set the rookie all-purpose yards record with 2,427 in the 2025 regular season, so he consistently finds ways to make plays when the ball is in his hands, but he's low enough on the depth chart to earn significant run Sunday. On Seattle's side, Foster should get opportunities to build on last week's strong showing and has an intriguing case for your MVP/Captain spot.
Tight End
Gunnar Helm is set to top Tennessee's TE depth chart in his second season after posting a 44-357-2 line as a rookie. Daniel Bellinger is a reliable blocker with little to prove after playing under Titans OC Brian Daboll for the Giants. Third-stringer Kylen Granson has showcased some pass-catching chops before, as Granson led all Colts TEs with 368 receiving yards back in 2023.
Elijah Arroyo had a quiet rookie season, but the 2025 second-round pick posted a 35-590-7 line at Miami in 2024. He offers upside as a pass catcher as he tries to secure the second spot on Seattle's TE depth chart behind AJ Barner.
Kicker/DST
Both teams only have one kicker on their respective rosters: Jason Myers for the Seahawks and Joey Slye for the Titans. DraftKings has the over/under for Sunday's game at 37.5, with the Titans favored by 4.5 at home. Kickers don't have the highest ceiling, but there should be some kicking opportunities to go around Sunday. Myers is a nice floor play after converting at least 83.3 percent of field-goal attempts in each of the past four seasons on heavy volume. Slye is unreliable, having hit no more than 80 percent of his attempts in each of the past three seasons.
Defenses have even higher floors than kickers. Seattle boasts an elite starting defense but the team's depth players aren't nearly as impressive, though Ward, Levis and Hooker are hardly an imposing QB trio to go against. The Seahawks mustered only seven points in their first preseason game, and defensive-minded head coach Robert Saleh will be looking for a strong performance out of Tennessee's defense here.
