Injury hotspots for Week 1 include Atlanta's quarterback room — down both Michael Penix and Tua Tagovailoa — Green Bay's offensive line and Kansas City's defense, each sending multiple questionable starters into Sunday.
Make sure to keep up with NFL breaking news throughout the weekend, especially Sunday morning when inactive lists are released at 11:30 a.m. EDT for the early games.
Below you'll find four categories, with our lists including key offensive linemen and defensive players whose absences might impact fantasy decisions. The bottom section, for potential game-day decisions, is sorted by kickoff times. It can be used as a checklist/cheatsheet for Sunday when inactives come out and we need to adjust lineups.

CHI WR Rome Odunze (calf)
Odunze had three limited practices this week because of a calf injury and, by his own account, expects to play Sunday at Carolina alongside Luther Burden as Chicago's top two receivers.
Truly Questionable / Game-Time Decisions 🤔
Players with key fantasy repercussions.
Early Games
NO RB Alvin Kamara (knee - MCL)
Kamara is questionable against Detroit after an MCL sprain suffered in an Aug. 18 joint practice with Dallas, an injury that initially looked like a multi-week absence. He's practiced on a limited basis all week, but Sunday's call is shaping up as a game-time decision. If Kamara sits or is limited, Kendre Miller would handle the complementary work behind starter Travis Etienne.
Late-Afternoon Games
RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle)
Love has managed a high-ankle sprain dating to preseason Week 1, and after three limited practices, he's in position for his regular-season debut against the Chargers. Coach Mike LaFleur indicated the call likely won't come until roughly 90 minutes before kickoff, making this as pure a game-time decision as the slate offers. An active Love would share the backfield with Tyler Allgeier.
Primetime Games
NYG WR Malik Nabers (knee)
Nabers finished Week 1 prep with three full practices, but the Giants appear ready to take his decision down to the wire against Dallas. The Sunday Night Football kickoff leaves little room to pivot if he winds up inactive, and both Nabers and the coaching staff have stayed non-committal on his availability as he continues working back from last year's torn ACL.
