Week 4 Friday Injury Report: Terry McLaurin & Keenan Allen Questionable for London

Hotspots on this week's NFL injury report include Philadelphia's pass catchers, Gang Green's pass catchers, New England's defense, Carolina's cornerbacks and the Chargers' secondary.

Three starting running backs suffered significant injuries last week, but nearly all of the key 'questionables' for fantasy in Week 4 are wide receivers, including Terry McLaurin, Jalen Coker, Keenan Allen and Mike Evans. We'll discuss them all below, in addition to many others.

Make sure to keep up with NFL breaking news throughout the weekend, especially Sunday morning when inactive lists are released at 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games.

Below you'll find four different categories, with our lists including key offensive linemen and defensive players whose absences might impact fantasy decisions. The bottom section, for potential game-day decisions, is sorted by kickoff times. It can be used as a checklist/cheatsheet for Sunday when inactives come out and we need to adjust lineups.

Truly Questionable / Game-Time Decisions 🤔

Players with key fantasy repercussions listed in bold.

London Game - 9:30 a.m. ET

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin was an end-of-week addition to the injury report due to a hamstring injury suffered in practice. That doesn't sound promising, and it could push more targets toward Stefon Diggs, who has a promising slot matchup with struggling Colts cornerback Justin Walley.

The Commanders would also give Antonio Williams more playing time in McLaurin's absence, though perhaps not to the extent fantasy enthusiasts are hoping for. The Commanders have also been using Treylon Burks and Dyami Brown, rather than unleashing Williams in a larger role after his strong start to the season.

On the other side of the game, Colts WR Keenan Allen opened the week listed as a limited practice participant due to rest, but the Colts then listed him with a groin injury Thursday (LP) and Friday (DNP). It's hard to say if he tweaked something or the Colts are just being cautious... maybe some of both. Whatever the case, fantasy managers should be ready for a game-time call in case it comes to that. With Allen out, Josh Downs and Tyler Warren would have even stronger target-share projections than they already do. WR Laquon Treadwell was also a full-time player last week, but he saw just three targets and the Colts now have Ashton Dulin and Darius Slayton as options too.

Early Games

It looks like all of the important fantasy news this weekend will pertain to the London game or the games with later kickoffs. Sadiq is listed as questionable, but he continued playing last week after taking a hard hit, and he then managed limited practices all of this week. He'll likely play.

Late-Afternoon Games

Both McConkey and Evans could come down to true game-time decisions. If I had to guess, both will play, with Evans a bit more likely to sit.

Shoutout to ESPN's Nick Wagoner for asking the right questions and doing good reporting here.

Primetime Games

Coker seems truly questionable, putting his fantasy managers in a tough spot where they'd only be able to choose players from SNF or MNF if Coker were to be ruled out in a game-time decision. Hopefully it won't come to that and we'll have a decent idea by Sunday morning.
