Corey Lynch: (Undisclosed) Lands On Injured Reserve
SIndianapolis Colts
Undisclosed
June 13, 2014
Lynch was placed on injured reserve Friday with an undisclosed injury.
ANALYSIS
Lynch was in line to start at strong safety for the Colts before the injury. He finished 2013 with just four tackles (two solo), but the 29-year-old would have likely seen a huge increase in those categories as the starting safety. With Lynch on injured reserve, Delano Howell and Sergio Brown are the Colts' top candidates to start at strong safety in the upcoming season.

2011 Fantasy Outlook
Lynch, the Buccaneers' No.3 free safety to beginning the 2010 season, was pressed into starting duty over the last five games of the season and put up some respectable numbers (26 tackles, one interception) over that span. He will probably resume backup duties in 2011 but at least he showed the team and those in IDP leagues that he has some potential with regular playing time, assuming of course he can hold off rookie safety Ahmad Black.
