Coach Romeo Crennel says that Kyle Orton or Stanzi will be the Chiefs' starting QB Sunday against Green Bay, Kent Babb of The Kansas City Star reports.

ANALYSIS
It will be Orton's gig if his finger allows him to play, but if not, the Chiefs would turn to Stanzi, rather than Tyler Palko.

Third-string QB, long shot to make the roster.

The former Iowa standout was waived by the Jaguars in August.

Stanzi hopes to earn the third quarterback position in Jacksonville after being cut by the Chiefs.

Stanzi will compete with Brady Quinn to land the backup role behind Matt Cassel. With significantly less experience than Quinn, it will be difficult for him to leapfrog the veteran.

With a prototypical quarterback build, Stanzi certainly looks the part of a starting signal caller, but with Matt Cassel in town, this rookie will likely be no better than a backup for his career in Kansas City.
