Garibay will have to earn Dallas' starting kicker spot after landing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech earlier this offseason. The rookie's inexperience is not far behind that of Hajrullahu, as the 32-year-old made his NFL debut with the Cowboys last season. This competition is likely to heat up during the Cowboys' training camp, which begins July 26.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Faced with a difficult cap situation, the Cowboys cut veteran Greg Zuerlein. As a result, Garibay,
an undrafted free agent, was the only kicker on the roster for spring practices. He was nearly
automatic in his lone full season as the starter at Texas Tech, converting on all 15 of his
attempts within 50 yards. Garibay remained with the team until August, but was let go when the team brought in Brett Maher.
