2026 Fantasy Outlook
Young represents Cincinnati's latest half-hearted attempt at bringing in competition for No. 3 receiver Andrei Iosivas, whose limitations become clear whenever Tee Higgins or Ja'Marr Chase misses time. At 6-foot-5, 218, the rookie out of Georgia will be another big body in a WR room full of them. Young never reached 500 yards in season across four years at Miami and Georgia, where he was routinely outproduced by other mid/late-round prospects like Will Mallory (2022), Xavier Restrepo (2023), Arian Smith (2024) and Zachariah Branch (2025). Young ran a 4.49 40 at the Combine, which is good for his size, but he skipped most of the other pre-draft workouts and doesn't have age (24 in July) working in his favor. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Young (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A knee injury prevented the rookie fourth-rounder from playing against the Jaguars in Week 4, a game that saw both star wideouts Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (groin/neck) sustain injuries. Chase and Higgins were both full participants in Friday's practice and also are listed as questionable, so if Young is cleared to play versus Miami, he'll be in line for a larger workload if one or both of Chase and Higgins cannot suit up.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set to be Bengals' WR3 sans Iosivas
Andrei Iosivas was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to a thumb injury, so Young will have the opportunity to serve as the Bengals' WR3 for as long as the former is sidelined.
ANALYSIS
Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are the unquestioned top wideouts for the Bengals, and Iosivas had only three catches on four targets for 19 yards through two regular-season games. Still, Iosivas played over 50 percent of offensive snaps in each of those two contests, and Young figures to absorb most of that playing time. Young has just one target in 2026, but he should see a bump in passes from Joe Burrow over the next few weeks, especially when the Bengals face tough defenses that slow down one or both of Chase and Higgins.
