2026 Fantasy Outlook
The Packers drafted Smack in the sixth round to replace Brandon McManus, who was then released in May. The team kept 26-year-old Lucas Havrisik on the roster throughout spring practices to give Smack some competition, but the rookie should get the job if he looks competent at training camp. Smack was a three-year starter at the University of Florida, where he made 82.8 percent of his field-goal attempts and set a program record with 10 successful kicks of 50-plus yards. Green Bay kickers typically haven't been top fantasy performers even when the team scores often, but Smack should at least generate streaming interest when the Packers are heavily favored or playing indoors. Read Past Outlooks
Signed a four-year, $4.59 million contract with the Packers in May of 2026.Smack went 1-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-3 on extra-point tries during the Packers' 31-7 win over the Bears on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Smack missed field goals from 43 and 47 yards in the fourth quarter, which came after his extra-point try early in the third missed wide left. It was by far the worst performance of the rookie's young NFL career, but luckily for him, the Packers dominated enough offensively and defensively that his kicking miscues were a wash. Smack will have a prime opportunity to bounce back in Week 6 on Oct. 18 against the Cowboys, who are giving up the seventh-most points per game in the NFL this season (27.2).

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Pressure to succeed in rookie year
Gennaro Filice of NFL.com lists Smack as one of 12 rookies who is under pressure to succeed in their first NFL season.
ANALYSIS
Smack was the first kicker off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft after being selected by the Packers in the sixth round, 216th overall. Green Bay proceeded to release Brandon McManus in early May, as the team has turned to Smack to serve as the primary kicker for the upcoming season, with Luke Havrisik being the only other kicker on the 90-man roster. Filice points out that the Packers are perennial playoff contenders with quarterback Jordan Love, so Smack -- like Tyler Loop with the Ravens in 2025 -- will be under the spotlight in his rookie season.
