New York (AL) – Having pitched four of the previous five days, Mariano Rivera got Saturday off. David Robertson closed out the win to earn his first save of the season.

St. Louis – Jason Motte threw 1.2 perfect innings with two strikeouts to shut down the Reds in Saturday's win.

Jason Motte, P, STL – Motte appears to have taken control of the Cardinals' closer job. It is a bit surprising he hadn't been given consideration for the role earlier in the season given his strong numbers – a 1.57 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and just one home run allowed in 57.1 innings. Take a look to see if Motte is available in your league to pick up a few more saves down the stretch.
