Chicago Cubs – With Carlos Marmol having pitched a hefty two innings on Friday, the Cubs turned to Sean Marshall to close out Saturday's win. Marshall gave up two hits, then loaded the bases with an intentional walk before shutting down Humberto Quintero to end the game.
San Francisco – Santiago Casilla had his first hiccup as the Giants closer, allowing two runs in the ninth inning. Thankfully for Giants fans still clinging to hope, the Giants led by three entering the ninth and Casilla was successfully able to close out the game.
