Day Game After Night Game: LAD, HOU, STL, PIT, COL, MIL, ATL, AZ, PHI, SD, CLE, OAK, BAL, LAA, TOR, KC, MIN, TB
Injuries

Day-to-Day
Juan Uribe, 3B, LAD – (Wrist) Available off the bench and could return to starting lineup Sunday.
Michael Cuddyer, OF, COL – (Toe) Returned to the starting lineup Saturday. Should be good going forward.
Omar Infante, 2B, MIA – (Groin) Expected to be held out until Tuesday at the earliest.
Ryan Theriot, SS, SF – (Illness) Not in the lineup Saturday and questionable for Sunday.
Ryan Zimmerman, 3B, WAS – (Shoulder) Mr. Brittle has inflammation is in his shoulder. No MRI is scheduled at this time, and he's expected to return Tuesday. Sound like a broken record?
Kevin Correia, P, PIT – (Chest) Could start Monday. Skipped Saturday to rest given the discomfort in his side.
Carlos Ruiz, C, PHI – (Wrist) Remains day-to-day with sore wrist.
Jon Jay, OF, STL – (Shoulder) Available off the bench Saturday.
Jayson Werth, OF, WAS – (Hip) Seems to be OK after leaving Thursday's game with hip injury. Hit his first home run of the season Saturday.
Nick Blackburn, P, MIN – (Shoulder) Expected to return and start Tuesday.
Andy Dirks, OF, DET – (Hamstring) Still not available as the Tigers are being cautious with several other options to slot in.
Jason Repko, OF, BOS – (Shoulder) Diagnosed with a slight separation in his shoulder. Bo-Sox traded for Marlon Byrd on Saturday to end the injury train circling in center for them.
Justin Morneau, 1B, MIN – (Foot) Returned to the lineup Saturday.
Adrian Beltre, 3B, TEX – (Hamstring) Left Saturday's game with a strain. Ruled out for Sunday, and a trip to the DL could be on tap with the Rangers having a more than capable Michael Young to plug in at third.
Coco Crisp, OF, OAK – (Illness) Not in the lineup Saturday.
Kevin Youkilis, 3B, BOS – (Quadriceps) Left Saturday's game with contusion. Probably doubtful for a couple days.
Nolan Reimold, OF, BAL – (Neck) Out of the lineup Saturday. Available to pinch-hit.

Disabled List
Geoff Blum, 3B, AZ – (Oblique) Could miss as much as a month, putting him out until mid-May.
Lance Berkman, 1B, STL – (Calf) Will miss at least two weeks after being placed on DL Friday.
Freddy Sanchez, 2B, SF – (Shoulder) Making progress, but no definitive date of return set yet.
Dustin Moseley, P, SD – (Shoulder) Sidelined indefinitely. Checkup schedule for April 30 that will determine if he needs surgery.
Chase Utley, 2B, PHI – (Knee) Will be reevaluated next week to try and determine a timetable for his return.
Ryan Howard, 1B, PHI – (Achilles) Will see a wound specialist Monday to explore the possibility of increasing his workload in rehab.
Takashi Saito, P, AZ – (Calf) Mad a rehab appearance Thursday. No timetable for his return set yet.
Ryan Dempster, P, CHC – (Quadriceps) Placed on the 15-day DL Saturday. Could return the first week of May.
Allen Craig, OF, STL – (Knee) Will begin rehab assignment Saturday. Still no date set for his return.
Stephen Drew, SS, AZ – (Ankle) Making continued progress, but no definitive date has been set for his return.
Dan Hudson, P, AZ – (Shoulder) Placed on the 15-day DL Saturday. He was still hitting 94 mph in his last outing, so it's possible he may only miss the minimum 15 days.
Chris Narveson, P, MIL – (Shoulder) Getting a second opinion on if he needs surgery, but he'll likely undergo the knife in the coming week.
Cliff Lee, P, PHI – (Oblique) Placed on the 15-day DL Saturday. No timetable was given for his return. It could be two weeks, or it could linger for a month or more.
Felipe Paulino, P, KC – (Forearm) Ready to begin rehab assignment. His role as a starter doesn't seem guaranteed when he returns.
Michael Pineda, P, NYY – (Shoulder) Will be evaluated Monday and undergo an MRI. Currently shutdown with a weak shoulder.
Andrew Miller, P, BOS – (Hamstring) Having control issues in his rehab appearances. No surprise here. Miller has been having control issues his whole career.
Lorenzo Cain, OF, KC – (Groin) Ready to start his rehab assignment. Says he's close to 100 percent, and a good showing of health should have him back in the majors sooner than later. He's probably a week and a half or healthy outings away from returning.
Carl Crawford, OF, BOS – (Wrist) Expected to have a timetable for his return set this week.
Greg Holland, P, KC – (Ribs) Placed on the 15-day DL Saturday. He may have a broken rib. Jonathan Broxton's role as the closer has been firmed up.
Tsuyoshi Wada, P, BAL – (Elbow) Still experience soreness in elbow. Shutdown from rehab. Remains far away from returning.

Closer Watch

Miami – Edward Mujica came in with the game tied Saturday and ended up getting the loss. Though he didn't pick up any earned runs with Gaby Sanchez having a throwing error in the inning, Mujica's continued mediocrity should help to keep Heath Bell in the closer role despite Bell's own struggles.

Pittsburgh – Joel Hanrahan earned his second save of the season Saturday after being held out of the team's final two games in Arizona with a hamstring injury. He appears good to go. It's probably safe to drop Juan Cruz if you picked him up on speculation.

Toronto – Sergio Santos went on the DL with shoulder inflammation. Francisco Cordero will be the closer for as long as Santos is out. Don't write off Cordero. He had 77 saves over the previous two seasons. He might blow a save from time to time, but he usually stays consistent enough to fend off save vultures when he does have the job.

Washington – Brad Lidge blew his second save of the season Saturday, and Henry Rodriguez looked overpowering in his last save Friday, giving him three straight converted saves. Though the Nationals are unlikely to come out and declare that Rodriguez is the lone closer in Washington, he's certainly been the closer to own in fantasy. If you have Lidge and Rodriguez is available, I'd make the switch.

Recommended Pickup
Francisco Cordero – I already mentioned him the closer section, but for those of you who skim over the rest of the article to get here, Cordero will be the Blue Jays closer for as long as Sergio Santos (shoulder inflammation) is on the DL. Santos was placed on the DL Saturday, and there won't be a date set for his return until the inflammation in his shoulder is fully assessed. It could be a minor issue or a big one, but either way, Cordero is worth grabbing for all the saves he can grab in the meantime.
