Closer Watch
Nationals - Drew Storen will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Thursday. He will make four appearances in the minors before making his return to the major league roster. The idea of Storen pitching in a setup role has been tossed around, as Tyler Clippard has pitched very well in the Washington closer spot, with a 1.83 ERA on the year, and no earned runs and just two hits given up in 16 appearances since claiming the role. However, Storen could still reclaim his spot at the top of the Nationals' bullpen.

Recommended Pickup
Yasmani Grandal, C, SDP - We've talked about Salvador Perez a couple of times in this section, and he has been a hot topic in the MLB. Yasmani Grandal might be even better. Grandal was fantastic in his brief minor league career, with a .314/.415/.521 career minor league line. He advanced quickly, playing in just eight games in 2010, then moving from High-A to Triple-A in 2011. He OPS'd .963 with a .335 batting average in 53 games this season in Triple-A. He's now a part of the Padres' major league roster and, like Perez, is off to a blistering start. In four games, he has a .289 average and already has hit three home runs. Grandal, Baseball-America's #53 prospect entering 2012 and a big part of the Mat Latos trade, is the real deal. His defense is still iffy at best, but that won't matter for fantasy purposes. If you need catching help, there are a myriad of options. Grandal might be the best of those.

Other Recent Recommendations: Salvador Perez, Jim Thome, Jeff Baker, Bobby Parnell, Dillon Gee
