Matt Shoemaker, P, LAA – All aboard the comeback wagon! Shoemaker's season is a dichotomy of 13 home runs allowed in his first eight starts of the season and three home runs allowed in his last 10 starts. His ERA has dropped by more than two runs since May 21, though there have still been bumps along the road, including a 2.91 ERA in four June starts despite just two home runs and four walks in 22 innings that month. The important thing is that of late, Shoemaker has been dominant. In his last two starts, Shoemaker has gone 13 innings, allowing no runs on five hits with four walks and 17 strikeouts.
