Peat (lower leg) is expected to be fully healthy for training camp, John Katzenstein of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. "It's getting better," Peat said, of his surgically repaired left fibula. "I'm taking [my recovery] day by day, and my goal is to be back for training camp, so that's kind of what [the Saints] set for me and I feel like I'm on schedule."
Davenport recently suffered a thumb injury that will require surgery, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The rookie is expected to undergo the procedure after the conclusion of minicamp and be back to full strength for the start of training camp.
