Nicholas Lindheim

39-Year-Old Golfer
2024 Fantasy Outlook
A back injury limited Lindheim to just six starts on the PGA Tour during the 2022-23 season, but he managed to make the cut in each of his last four starts from the Wyndham Championship through the FedExCup Fall's RSM Classic. He clinched his card for the upcoming 2024 season thanks to a win at the Korn Ferry Tour's The Ascendant in July, which came just a few weeks after a third-place effort at the Compliance Solutions Championship. The 39-year-old has played at least 17 events in three separate PGA Tour seasons, but he's never finished better than 146th in the FedExCup standings. Read Past Outlooks
Finishes T28 in RSM Classic
November 20, 2023
Lindheim fired a two-under 68 on Sunday to finish tied for 28th place in the RSM Classic.
ANALYSIS
The recent Korn Ferry graduate achieved exempt status for 2022-23 after a three-year absence, and although his finish at Sea Island was encouraging, the 39-year-old has had limited success as a pro. His best finish on tour was a T7 at the Sanderson Farms Chanpionship back in 2017.

Lindheim posted a pair of top-20 results throughout the Korn Ferry Tour Finals to secure his PGA Tour card for the 2022-23 season, though he owns just one career top-10 finish on the PGA Tour through 65 total starts. Throughout his 2022 campaign on the KFT, Lindheim ranked fourth in driving accuracy and third in GIR percentage, but he averaged a disappointing 29.82 putts per round.
After earning his card via the Web.com Tour Finals, Lindheim earned just a single top-10 while missing the cut in half his 26 starts. His inconsistency, especially in his ballstriking, has proven to be his downfall despite solid putting. As such, he's not worth consideration in any format, despite having full PGA Tour status in the 2018-19 season.
Outside of a single tournament in 2014, Lindheim got his first taste of the PGA Tour last season, and boy was it rough. Just one top-25 in 21 starts as he missed nine cuts along the way. Lindheim's return to the big boy tour this season via the Web.com Tour Finals will hopefully be more fruitful, but don't expect any sort of large leap for the California native.
Lindheim has played only once on the PGA Tour (he made the cut in 2014). He'll get a lot more opportunities after a perplexing Web.com season. He had a win and a runner-up, but he also missed 10 of 20 cuts. That won't cut it with the big boys.
