Jaco Van Zyl

Van Zyl (wrist) has returned to tournament action on the Sunshine Tour, most recently missing the cut at last week's Vodacom Origins of Golf.

Van Zyl carded a six-under 65 in the final round of the Made In Denmark 2016 to move up six slots into a tie for sixth place.

Van Zyl announced he will withdraw from both the British Open and the PGA Championship to prepare for the Olympics, the Golf Channel reports.

Van Zyl missed the cut by eight strokes at the U.S. Open, firing rounds of 75-78.

Van Zyl will be making his US Open debut at Oakmont this week.
