January 18, 2010
Fujikawa has joined the development tour eGolf Professional Tour, as has Doug Barron.
ANALYSIS
The eGolf Tour, formerly the Tar Heel tour, is centered in North Carolina. They are scheduled to have 18 events starting in February and going through October. Fujikawa, who wasn't successful at 2009 Q-School, missed the cut at the Sony Open and wants to continue honing his skills. Barron, the first player to be charged with violating the PGA Tour's anti-doping policy, obviously needs a place to play. The leading money winner on the eGolf Tour last year earned $140,000.
