Englishman Kahn shot a five-under 66 in his closing round to an aggregate six-under to claim the win at the European Tour's BMW PGA Championship at the Wentworth Club, suburban London. Luke Donald (England) and Fredrik Anderson-Hed (Sweden) tied for second at five-under.
ANALYSIS
It's been a long time since the last win, June of 2004, when he won the Wales Open. Ranked 471st in the world, he'll move up substantially in topping a first-class field. Others: Justin Rose, Lee Westwood and Robert Karlsson tied for 10th at one-under; Ernie Els T34 at three-over; Rory McIlroy T48 at plus-five; Henrik Stenson T61 at plus-seven. Rose, Paul Casey T17 at plus one, and Stenson are in the field of the Crowne Plaza Invitational next week.
