T3 at Knoxville Open
May 24, 2026
Butler fired an eight-under 63 in the final round of the Visit Knoxville Open on the Korn Ferry Tour to finish tied with Cooper Dossey and Bryce Lewis for third.
ANALYSIS
Butler saved his best round for last Sunday, going four-under on both the front and back nines and capping his round off with a birdie on the par-5 18th. He struggled off the tee, losing 3.02 strokes in that category (65th), but he more than made up for it with his irons (second in SG: Approach) and performance on the green (fourth in SG: Putting). He also ranked third in birdies, T6 in bogeys, T9 in GIR and 21st in SG: Around-the-Green. It was a much-needed performance for Butler, who missed six of 10 cuts prior to Knoxville, with his T27 at the Colonial Life Charity Classic being his best performance on the Korn Ferry Tour this season. He'll look to carry that momentum into Raleigh next week at the UNC Health Championship.
