There are three NHL games Wednesday. The teams that have the second, third, and fourth highest road GAAs are all in action. How does that sound?
Here are my recommendations for your daily fantasy lineup.
GOALIE
Mikko Koskinen, EDM vs. NJD ($8,000): Koskinen has won his last five starts while posting a 1.80 GAA and .948 save percentage. Now he's facing a Devils team that is on the road for the second game of a back-to-back. It doesn't seem like this is going to be the matchup to trip the Finnish netminder up.
CENTER
Bo Horvat, VAN vs. NYR ($5,500): Horvat ended a bit of a drought by scoring in his last game, but that gives him 24 goals in 69 contests. That's a career high in goals, and he owes it in part to the fact he's already put 200 shots on net. The Rangers are one of those teams that have struggled defensively on the road. They have a 3.82 GAA in away games.
Nazem Kadri, TOR vs. CHI ($5,100): Since returning from a concussion, Kadri has a point in each of his last two games. Though he centers Toronto's third line, the 28-year-old also averages 2:37 per game with the extra man. That's what matters most here, as the Blackhawks have the league's worst penalty kill.
WING
Brock Boeser, VAN vs. NYR ($7,100): Boeser just scored his first goal in nine games, but that goal also gives him a three-game point streak. Plus, he's been quite active offensively, as he's notched 50 shots on net in his last 15 contests. Meanwhile, the Rangers have allowed a robust 35.6 shots on net per contest in away games.
William Nylander, TOR vs. CHI ($4,700): Nylander hasn't had the best luck since ending his holdout, as his 6.0 shooting percentage shows. However, he has started 55.5 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, third highest on the Maple Leafs and he also plays on Auston Matthews' wing. Luck could be on his side here, given that the Blackhawks have a 3.88 road GAA.
Zack Kassian, EDM vs. NJD ($4,500): Kassian recently had a four-game goal streak, and he has a point in five of his last six contests. Recently, the veteran winger has been on a line with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. If that continues, how could it not entice you? That's doubly true given that the Devils have a 3.88 road GAA, and are on the second night of a back-to-back.
DEFENSE
Darnell Nurse, EDM vs. NJD ($5,600): Nurse has 35 points in 69 games, helped by the fact he's getting power-play minutes for the first time in his career. He's also put 171 shots on net and blocked 121 shots to boot. A Devils team on the road for the second game in as many nights is not a matchup to be concerned about.
Alexander Edler, VAN vs. NYR ($4,700): It took Edler a couple games to get back in the swing of things after returning from injury, but over his last three contests he has two goals on 14 shots. He's also averaged 3:08 per game with the extra man, notching 10 power-play points in 43 games. In addition to their issues on the road, the Rangers have the 25th-ranked penalty kill.
