ANALYSIS
A year ago, he was considered a longshot to ever play to North America. And while there is no guarantee he'll make the move, Hedman's NHL potential would definitely be bolstered by a move to Sudbury.

Hedman possesses good size and above average skating ability. He is a tough, physical player with plenty of potential but still needs to work on his overall game. Hedman is expected to spend at least one more season at the OHL level.

An 8th round pick in 2004, Hedman potted 18 goals and 32 points in 2005-06 with Sudbury of the OHL. Of greater note was his physical presence -- this young Swede brought home 126 PIM in just 60 games. He's a long, long way from the Hub of Hockey so it's safe to ignore him right now.
