Lynch registered just three points in 59 AHL games in 2007-08. It's very doubtful he'd have any value at all even in the event he sees the NHL this season.
Recorded just three points in 59 games with AHL Peoria last season. Lynch has great size and toughness, but his skating needs a lot of work. He's too far down on the Blues depth chart to warrant any kind of fantasy consideration right now.
The 6-3, 213 pound defensemen, who was acquired from Edmonton in the Chris Pronger deal in 2005, did not record a point with the Blues last season and notched two points with Peoria (AHL) in 29 games. He is not expected to spend any time at the major league level this season and as such, should not be on your fantasy radar.
Keep an eye on Lynch, cause if he gets playing time he'll put up good numbers for a defenseman between 25-35 points, and could rack up about 120 penalty minutes. Lynch will get more time as the year progresses, as St. Louis looks more towards developing their young players for next season.
