ANALYSIS
Labrie signed a one-year, two-way contract with Tampa Bay on Sunday after attending the Lightning's training camp on a tryout basis. He had six goals and 16 points in 56 AHL contests last season.

The journeyman forward spent most of the 2013-14 season with Tampa's AHL team in Syracuse and is probably headed to Rockford of the AHL after signing a one-year contract with the Blackhawks. While he lacksa scorer's touch, Labrie gives the team some much needed muscle -- he had 112 penalty minutes for Syracuse last season.

Labrie was signed by the Bolts to provide scoring at the AHL level. The possibility of an NHL career is fading fast for this quad-A player.
