Curry showed the ability to be a scoring defenseman in the AHL last season by netting 13 goals. He is unlikely to hold fantasy value in 2008-09, but any defenseman with double-digit goal potential is worth noting.

Curry is a career minor-league defenseman who loves the penalty box. Don't expect to see him in any NHL action this season.
Curry has yet to see NHL ice time and hasn’t played in the AHL since the 2009-10 season. It’s unlikely he’ll make his NHL debut this year.
Curry played solely in the AHL last year and at age 28, he's unlikely to make much of a dent at the next level should he be given a shot.
At 6-5, 230 pounds, Curry is an absolute beast on the ice. Curry recorded 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in two seasons for AHL Providence, racking 266 penalty minutes over that time period as well. He has yet to debut in the NHL circuit, but expect to see Curry in a Bruins uniform sometime during the 2007-08 campaign.
