Cohen has signed an entry-level contract with the Avalanche, the Denver Post reports.

ANALYSIS
Cohen, 23, just completed his senior season at Boston University, tallying 25 points (15G, 10A) in 38 games. He led the Terriers in goals and finished sixth on the team in points. The 6-foot-3, 208-pound winger was a member of Boston University's 2009 NCAA championship team, scoring a goal in the NCAA title game against Miami (Ohio). He finished his collegiate career with 52 points (31G, 21A) in 130 career games. Cohen is expected to report to Colorado's AHL affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters.
