On the heels of several successful seasons leading the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL, the undrafted free agent, Kantor, signed a three-year entry level contract last year. While the 22-year-old should never be suggested for scoring punch, the Chicago-area prospect has never been afraid to throw punches. In his first pro season, Kantor racked up 125 penalty minutes in a combined 30 games with ECHL Greenville and AHL Hartford.

Raised on Long Island, Kantor is more known for his energy and fore-checking ability, it looks like the 21-year-old will join the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). The right winger, who most recently played two seasons with the Sudbury Wolves, leaves the OHL after logging 94 points (43 goals) and 420 penalty minutes through 197 career games. While Kantor could make the roster in Hartford and he's seemingly on a short list of agitators, he's not likely to be called up or receive significant playing time if he is. Nothing to see here at this time folks.
