Joe Whitney

At 5-foot-6 and 170 pounds, Whitney is among the smallest players in professional hockey, but it didn’t prevent him from posting a huge season in 2014-15 with AHL Albany, where he recorded 23 goals and 60 points. He’s also 27 years of age, so he’s no longer a prospect. Whitney is most likely just organizational depth at this point in time.
