Lerg has left the San Jose organization to sign a two-year contract with Rogle BK of the Swedish Hockey League, Swedish newspaper Expressen reports.
ANALYSIS
Lerg continued to be an effective AHL player in 2015-16 with the San Jose Barracuda, scoring 51 points in 64 games. However, the former Michigan State Spartan has played just eight games in the NHL (including six this season) at the age of 30, so he has decided to search for greener pastures across the pond.
