2014 Fantasy Outlook
After lighting it up at WHL Spokane for the previous five seasons, Kichton was finally eligible to join AHL St. John’s in 2013-14 and played a pivotal role in their run to the Calder Cup Finals. The 22-year-old blueliner totalled a respectable 10 goals and 38 assists over 76 regular-season contests, creating buzz that he might be in line for a call-up to the Jets at some point during the upcoming season. The organization would still undoubtedly prefer him to spend most of his time at St. John’s in 2014-15, but if he retains his penchant for scoring, he could be tabbed for a full-time role with the parent club as soon as next season.
