Robinson has been selected by the Sharks with the 86th overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
ANALYSIS
Robinson rose up draft boards this year, climbing all the way from not being listed in the preliminary Central Scouting rankings to eighth in the final ranks. That's particularly impressive considering he played for a bad Lawrence Academy prep squad that finished 7-16-2. He has good size and is technically sound. Robinson won't wow you with atheticism, quickness, or agility. But he's calm and poised, and reads the game like a pro. He squares up, covers a lot of the net, and doesn't lose shape easily. It's not sexy, but it's incredibly effective. He has committed to the University of New Hampshire for 2017, so he's a long way from realizing any kind of fantasy value.
