Wade Megan

After leading the AHL in goals (33) in 2016-17, the Blues hoped Megan could develop into a solid third-line wing. He failed to impress during the 2017-18 preseason, though, and Megan returned to AHL Chicago -- a club the Blues shared with Vegas -- and suffered from less playing time in this unique format, regressing to just 11 goals and 33 points. St. Louis didn't re-sign Megan, and he inked a deal with the Red Wings instead. Unfortunately, Detroit is getting younger and may not have minutes for an inexperienced, 28-year-old forward, so Megan will likely spend a good chunk of his time as a veteran presence with AHL Grand Rapids.
