The Sharks intend to let Bordeleau develop with AHL San Jose for the foreseeable future, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
ANALYSIS
Bordeleau has 13 goals -- the most by any AHL rookie this season -- and 20 points through 29 games on the year. He tallied five assists in a short, eight-game stint with the Sharks last season but the team will let him and William Eklund continue to develop at a slow pace. If Bordeleau continues his success this season he could carve out a role at the top level to begin the 2023-24 campaign.
