FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Picks

FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Picks

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

With 12 games on the docket, you have plenty of options at your disposal on Tuesday. We're here to try and help you sort through all the available information to help bring you DFS success.

GOALIE

Craig Anderson, OTT vs. BUF ($8,800): The Sabres have two wins in their last 10 games and they aren't even averaging two goals per game. Anderson, meanwhile, has been in net for four straight wins, with a .936 save percentage. It's a great matchup for anybody, but Anderson has the chops to take advantage of this matchup.

CENTER

Henrik Zetterberg, DET vs. DAL ($5,900): The Stars will be playing their second game in as many days. That either means Kari Lehtonen and his .884 save percentage will be in net or Antti Niemi will be pressed into action on back-to-back nights. Zetterberg only has three goals, but he's notched 11 assists, and he's playing 3:23 a night on the power play. He's not the player he used to be, but is good enough to provide a nice value at this price.

Leon Draisaitl, EDM vs. TOR ($5,600): People may be focused on Connor McDavid vs. Auston Matthews, but Toronto's 3.2 goals allowed per game is more interesting from a daily fantasy perspective. Draisaitl isn't quite on McDavid's level, but he does have 17 points, including seven on the power play. The Maple Leafs are a middle-of-the-road team on the penalty kill, but not enough to cause too much worry.

WING

Brad Marchand, BOS at PHI ($6,900): Marchand was hot out of the gates, but has since settled into a more reasonable pace. Nevertheless, he still has 19 points in 22 games, and he scored 37 goals last season. What's just as important is the Flyers have let in more goals than any other team. Marchand doesn't need to be on a run to take advantage of that fact.

Jordan Eberle, EDM vs. TOR ($6,600): We aren't just going to leave the Oilers' recommendations at Draisaitl. Eberle also has 17 points, and he's taken 69 shots on goal in 23 games. He's piling on the shots, and that's always good against the Maple Leafs this season.

Mikael Granlund, MIN at VAN ($5,200): The Canucks are letting in three goals per game, and Ryan Miller has a .910 save percentage, which puts him a fair distance ahead of Jacob Markstrom. Granlund hasn't particularly been offensively potent in the past, but has 14 points and is playing more than a minute per game more than in any previous season. For a player at a relatively low price, Granlund provides some real potential.

Michael Cammalleri, NJD vs. WPG ($5,400): Taylor Hall may be out, but Cammalleri has stepped up in his absence. Since returning to action after missing six games, Cammalleri has eight points in three contests. That's a pace that simply cannot be maintained, but he's taken 45 shots on goal in 15 games and lit the lamp seven times. The Jets have struggled to prevent goals and thwart power plays, so perhaps Cammalleri can keep the good times rolling.

DEFENSEMEN

Oscar Klefbom, EDM vs. TOR ($4,300): Klefbom has registered 59 shots on goal while blocking 41 shots. Both of these things are encouraging going into a matchup with Toronto. He should get some offensive opportunities, especially since he's playing 2:48 on the power play, and the Maple Leafs should also provide some shot blocking chances. For a rather low price, Klefbom has the makings of a steal.

Julius Honka, DAL at DET ($4,000): Honka is already giving us reasons to get excited. He's only played in four games, but has three points, including his first power-play tally. With Jimmy Howard out, Petr Mrazek and his .898 save percentage will likely be in net. Take advantage of Honka while he's still cheap.
