FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Values

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

GOALIE

Edmonton Oilers, EDM vs. BUF ($16,600): Normally you wouldn't want to go with an Oilers netminder, but these are special circumstances. The Sabres have only scored 2.24 goals per game, worst in the NHL by a decent margin. Buffalo is also on the road for the second night of a back-to-back, which is not going to make things any easier. Edmonton has also won three games in a row.

CENTER

Paul Stastny, STL vs. OTT ($13,200): Stastny has 34 points in 49 games, even though his 8.9 shooting percentage is the worst of his career. There's still a little room for improvement, and he does have three goals and six assists in his last eight tilts. The Senators are on the road on the second night of a back-to-back, and Craig Anderson (3.24 GAA, .899 save percentage) hasn't had a good year.

David Krejci, BOS vs. NJD ($11,100): Krejci has been outstanding since returning from injury. He has 10 points in his last nine contests and currently has a five-game point streak. Cory Schneider just returned from an illness, and before he hit the shelf he allowed at least four goals in five-straight games. The Devils will be on the road for the second night of a back-to-back, and with Keith Kinkaid hurt, Schneider might have to start again.

WING

Alexander Radulov, DAL vs. FLA ($14,100): Radulov has arguably been as hot as anybody recently. In his last 10 contests he has six goals and nine assists, including four power-play points. The Panthers have a team GAA of 3.22, and they've also given up a league-high 35.0 shots on net per contest. The Russian should at least get a few pucks on net, and don't be surprised if one of them goes in.

Patrick Maroon, EDM vs. BUF ($11,400): Buffalo is bad offensively, but it is just as bad on the defensive side of things. Prior to Monday's outing, the Sabres had a team GAA of 3.50. With zero days of rest they have a 3.60 team GAA. Maroon is skating alongside Connor McDavid on Edmonton's top line, and in his last three games he has four goals and an assist.

Wayne Simmonds, PHI at DET ($10,500): The Red Wings are another team on the second night of a back-to-back. Detroit had a 3.04 team GAA before their game Monday, and in his last three starts Jimmy Howard has a 3.81 GAA and a .880 save percentage. Simmonds, who has had at least 28 goals in his last four seasons, has 16 goals this year. That includes five in his last 10 games, to go along with three assists in that time.

DEFENSEMEN

Colton Parayko, STL vs. OTT ($11,300): Parayko's minutes are up this year, and it's paying off for the Blues. He's tallied 19 points (eight on the power play) and 127 shots in 49 games. The Senators have a team GAA of 3.45 and have given up 32.5 shots on net per game, and they also have the 28th-ranked penalty kill. January has been particularly rough for Ottawa to boot. Prior to Monday, they had a 4.14 team GAA and had allowed 39.9 shots on net per tilt.

Hampus Lindholm, ANA vs. NYR ($8,900): Lindholm's scoring has picked up recently, as he's tallied five points in his last eight games. Overall, the Swede has seven goals in 35 contests. The Rangers have struggled in January, as they have a 3.30 team GAA and they've given up a whopping 35.5 shots on net per contest. More than that, New York has really struggled in the road, as it has allowing 38.0 shots on goal per tilt away from home.
