Goalie
Cam Talbot, EDM vs FLA ($7,900): The Panthers are a lackluster 10-14-3 on the road. Talbot is a risky play, but a play that holds a lot of upside as Florida averages 34.7 shots on goal per game, the highest mark in the league. In five games against the Panthers, Talbot is 4-1-0 with a 2.18 GAA and a .927 save percentage.
Center
Derek Stepan, ARI vs CHI ($5,600): Stepan comes into Monday with a point in each of his last three games. In his first season with Arizona, Stepan has 35 points with six points coming on the power play. The Blackhawks have struggled against centers over the last four weeks, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to the position. Chicago has lost five straight games, allowing 18 goals over that span, putting Stepan in a favorable spot.
Nazem Kadri, TOR vs TB ($5,600): The Leafs are fifth in the NHL with 3.21 goals per game, and Kadri has been an important part of their success. In total, Kadri has 18 goals, six of which have come on the power play, in addition to 17 assists. The Ontario native comes into Monday in good form with a point in seven of his last eight games totaling 10 points.
Wing
Mitch Marner, TOR vs TB ($5,900): Marner has turned up his play of late, specifically over his last 10 games on the second line with Nazem Kadri and Patrick Marleau. The second-year NHLer has seven goals in his last 10 contests as well as three assists and an average of 3.6 shots on goal per game. 15 of Marner's 42 points this season have come on the power play. Tampa Bay comes in with the 22nd-ranked penalty kill (78.6 percent).
Yanni Gourde, TB at TOR ($5,200): Skating on the first line of late, Gourde has at least one point in nine of his last 10 games with seven goals and five assists over that span. Pairing Gourde with Steven Stamkos provides a ton of upside in what should be a high-scoring affair.
Jesse Puljujarvi, EDM vs FLA ($4,200): Puljujarvi has just one point in his last six games, but in a matchup at home Monday, the young Swede has a great chance of making his way onto the scoresheet. The Panthers have allowed the sixth-most goals per game (3.15) and are just 10-14-3 on the road. Puljujarvi sees a nice upside boost skating on the first line with Connor McDavid.
Defense
Oliver Ekman-Larsson, ARI vs CHI ($5,100): Ekman-Larsson has a point in two of his last three games and has averaged three shots on goal over that stretch. The Blackhawks have allowed 28 points — four goals — to defensemen over their last 10 games. He has eight points in his last eight games against Chicago and is averaging 2.51 shots on goal per game on the campaign.
Morgan Rielly, TOR vs TB ($4,500): Rielly has been back in action for four games after missing nearly a month due to injury and hasn't missed a beat. The fifth-year NHLer, who's on pace to set a career high in points, has a point in two of his four games since returning and has averaged 2.25 shots on goal over that span. Rielly looks to build off his recent play in a home matchup, where he's recorded 95 of his 152 career points.
