FantasyDraft NHL: Tuesday Values

This article is part of our FantasyDraft NHL series.

The trade deadline has passed, so things should be calmer around the NHL. That's also helpful for the daily fantasy players out there. There are nine games on the slate, and here are some of the values I like the best.

GOALIE

Minnesota Wild, MIN vs. STL ($16,300): The Wild are 21-5-6 at home. Meanwhile, the Blues have lost six games in a row. St. Louis also has only averaged 2.70 goals per game, and now they've traded away Paul Stastny. Minnesota also has a 2.16 team GAA at home, which is the best in the NHL.

CENTER

Aleksander Barkov, FLA vs. TOR ($12,900): Barkov has 58 points in 58 games and 15 points in his last 11 contests. He also has 39 shots on net in those 11 games, giving him 192 shots this season. The Maple Leafs have allowed 34.0 shots on net per contest and are also on the road for the second night of a back-to-back in this one.

Evgeny Kuznetsov, WAS vs. OTT ($11,600): Kuznetsov has averaged a career high in ice time (18:47) and power-play minutes (3:34). It's paid off, as the Russian center has 59 points in 63 games. Ottawa has decided to start Mike Condon in this game, who has a 3.31 GAA and a .901 save percentage.

WING

Alexander Radulov, DAL vs. CGY ($12,400): With Mike Smith injured, the Flames have taken a turn for the worse defensively. In 13 games since the All-Star break, they have a 3.54 team GAA. Radulov has started 55.6 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, second most on the Stars, and he's scored a goal in each of his last two games to give him 23 on the season.

Jason Zucker, MIN vs. STL ($12,100): Zucker has notched a career-high 25 goals this season to go with 21 assists. Furthermore, in his last five games he's tallied six points. Since the All-Star break, the Blues have had some issues in net. They have a 3.00 team GAA and an .889 team save percentage.

Jake Guentzel, PIT vs. NJD ($10,000): In two of his last three games, Guentzel has tallied three points. The fact he's getting to skate alongside Sidney Crosby on Pittsburgh's top line certainly doesn't hurt. Cory Scheider didn't join the Devils for this trip, so Keith Kinkaid (3.03 GAA, .900 save percentage) is in net for this one. New Jersey has also allowed 34.9 shots on net per game on the road.

DEFENSEMEN

Torey Krug, BOS vs. CAR ($10,900): Krug has started 65.5 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, most among Boston defensemen. He's also averaged 3:20 per game with the extra man, tallying 12 power-play points in 56 games thus far. The Hurricanes have a 3.00 team GAA and an .896 team save percentage. They also have the 21st-ranked penalty kill.

Morgan Rielly, TOR at FLA ($10,200): Rielly picked up two assists and four shots on net Monday, giving him 37 points and 141 shots this season. He's also notched 15 of those points with the extra man. The Panthers have a 3.22 team GAA and have given up a whopping 34.7 shots on net per contest. Rielly should have plenty of opportunity to put the puck on net.
