Will fight elsewhere amidst USADA suspension
MiddleweightOther
December 5, 2019
Dollaway (suspension) has been released from the UFC and will compete at Rizin 20 on Dec. 31, Anton Tabuena of Bloody Elbow reports.
ANALYSIS
Dollaway was handed a two-year USADA suspension due to multiple violations back in August, which would have been applied retroactively and make him eligible to compete in December of 2020. The 36-year-old didn't want to wait that long, however, so he received his release from his UFC contract and will instead make the move to a promotion with less stringent anti-doping testing. He'll take on Jiri Prochazka for the promotion's light heavyweight title at the New Year's Eve event.

MiddleweightOther
August 26, 2019
Dollaway will be suspended for two years by USADA after testing positive for multiple prohibited substances, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Dollaway's suspension is retroactive to Dec. 13, 2018, so the 35-year-old will be eligible to return on Dec. 13, 2020. He first failed an out-of-competition urine test in Dec. 2018, then tested positive for another banned substance in Feb. 2019. Dollaway also received an over-the-limit IV infusion in Dec. 2018.
Quits on the stool after Round 2 in Moscow
MiddleweightOther
September 15, 2018
Dollaway was defeated by Khalid Murtazaliev via TKO (corner stoppage) at 5:00 of Round 2 at UFC Moscow on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Dollaway was hurt early by a body kick. He recovered well and made it out of the first round. He was fortunate Murtazaliev tried to take him down after the kick instead of following up with strikes. In the second round "The Doberman" was able to get a takedown and got to mount. He almost submitted the Russian with a Peruvian Necktie but was unable to get the optimal position. After Murtazaliev fought off the submission Dollaway was gassed. He could offer up no defense and was brutalized on the ground. Herb Dean should have stopped the fight, but let Dollaway absorb a ton of punishment until the end of the round. Dollaway was unable to come out for the third round.
Receives new opponent for UFC Moscow
MiddleweightOther
September 5, 2018
Dollaway will now fight Artem Frolov at UFC Moscow on Sept. 15, Damon Martin of UFC.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dollaway's original opponent, Omari Akhmedov, has withdrawn due to an injury, so he'll now be battling youngster Artem Frolov in less than two weeks. Considering this will be Frolov's first fight under the UFC banner, look for Dollaway to use his experience to try and get the upper hand. The 35-year-old veteran has won back-to-back fights over Hector Lombard and Ed Herman, and he'll enter this fight with both the height and reach advantage.
Added to Moscow card

June 28, 2018
Dollaway will take on Omari Akhmedov in a middleweight matchup on the UFC's Sept. 15 card in Moscow, Ariel Helwani of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Dollaway is currently riding his first winning streak since 2014 following back-to-back victories over Hector Lombard and Ed Herman. The Lombard win comes with a bit of an asterisk, however, as Lombard was disqualified for landing an after-the-bell punch on Dollaway that rendered him unable to continue. Akhmedov is the younger of the two fighters, but Dollaway will take height and reach advantages into the cage. He'll also be in hostile territory, as Akhmedov fights out of Dagestan, Russia.
Gets win after Hector Lombard is DQ'ed at UFC 222
MiddleweightOther
March 3, 2018
Dollaway defeated Hector Lombard via DQ (illegal punch) at 5:00 of Round 1 at UFC 222 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's been a weird last few years for Dollaway and that trend continued on Saturday. He fell victim to a late punch from Lombard after Round 1 ended and he was unable to continue. He was eventually stretchered out of the arena despite the fact he didn't appear to be in too much obvious discomfort. Referee Mark Smith (correctly) ruled the fight a DQ and Dollaway now finds himself the the winner of back-to-back contests. Dollaway missed a bunch of time recently due to a back injury suffered in a freak elevator accident and he is just now getting back in the rhythm of fighting on a regular basis. The 34-year-old veteran makes for useful roster depth at this point in his career, but little more.
