Reyes will be fighting in his home country, hoping to get back on track after he was knocked out by Drew Dober on June 29. Reyes has been pedestrian in his last four fights, going just 1-3, while being knocked out in each of his losses. It's truly difficult to look as poor in a fight as Reyes did on Saturday. He spent the entire 67 seconds the bout lasted serving as a punching bag for Dober. Sporting a 1-3 record in his last four bouts and having been knocked out in each of those losses, the 34-year-old Reyes is in trouble. It might not happen in every single instance, but the lack of competitiveness Reyes displayed in this one often leads to a fighter being handed his/her walking papers.

Reyes was having a fair bit of success early in Round 1 by coming forward and throwing combinations but didn't seem prepared for his opponent to shoot takedowns in response, which resulted in the Mexican fighter ending up on his back. Round 2 took on a similar tone, but Hadzovic made the most of the opportunity the second time around, forcing Reyes to give up his back on the ground, where he succumbed to brutal ground and pound. Reyes is a slick boxer and a fun action fighter but seems to struggle with fighters who don't simply agree to brawl with him in the pocket. He will need to diversify his game if he wants to get back to his winning ways. Reyes falls to 8-5 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.
