MiddleweightBellator
February 22, 2019
Murtazaliev accepted a two-year suspension on Friday due to a violation of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Murtazaliev first tested positive for a banned substance back in October of 2018 and then again in December, so he will not be eligible to return to competition again until late-2020. Murtazaliev most recently defeated CB Dolloway via TKO in Round 2 of their bout at UFC Moscow in September.

Forces CB Dollaway to quit on the stool after Round 2
MiddleweightBellator
September 15, 2018
Murtazaliev defeated CB Dollaway via TKO (corner stoppage) at 5:00 of Round 2 at UFC Moscow on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Murtazaliev looked great in this fight. He hurt Dollaway early with a body kick, but then inexplicably tried to take him down instead of continuing with strikes. Dollaway constantly tried to get takedowns, but Murtazaliev is so strong he would get right back up. In the second round the Russian was finally taken down. "The Doberman" tried to submit him with a Peruvian Necktie, but Murtazaliev was able to escape and from that point Dollaway was finished because he used all of his energy trying to finish the fight. Murtazaliev got top position and the American was so tired he couldn't mount any defense. Herb Dean should have stopped the fight, but he let it go until the bell of the second round and Dollaway was unable to continue. He could not come out for Round 3 so the fight was called.
