Suspended for two years

Shtyrkov was handed a two-year suspension by the USADA on Tuesday after testing positive for the steroid boldenone, Marc Raimondi of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Shtyrkov had already been released by the UFC after he was flagged for the failed drug test, and now he will be out of competition for the next two years. He has since signed overseas with the promotion Rizin -- one that happens to be notoriously less strict with its drug testing programs.

Shtyrkov announced Thursday that he was granted his released from the UFC following being flagged for an anti-doping violation, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Shtyrkov's departure from the UFC appears to be mutual, and while no suspension has been officially handed to the fighter, the idea of one looming was enough for the two parties to separate. Shtyrkov boasts a perfect 15-0 record in his professional career and most recently made a habit of winning as part of the Russian Cagefighting Championship.

Shtyrkov has been hospitalized and his fight against Devin Clark on Saturday at Yubileyniy Arena in St. Petersburg, Russia is off, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Clark posted on Instagram that Shtyrkov was in the hospital and forced to withdraw from the fight. It's not immediately clear how the lineup will proceed.
