Jessamyn Duke: Loses Again On Saturday In Chicago
Duke lost to Elizabeth Phillips via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC on FOX 16 on Saturday in Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Duke is ridiculously tall (5-11) and she has a very long reach, but that's about all she brings to the table. Her movements in the cage are stiff and she's extremely undisciplined. She turned up the pace in the third round, but a lot of that success was due to the fact that Phillips was absolutely exhausted. After winning her UFC debut against Peggy Morgan in November 2013, Duke has now lost three straight. It would be a surprise if she isn't released. Her next fight will probably be in Invicta.
