FlyweightOther
August 25, 2018
Moraga was defeated by Deiveson Figueiredo via KO (punch) at 3:08 of Round 2 at UFC Lincoln on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Moraga clipped Figueiredo in the opening seconds, but that was about the only bright spot for him in this fight. Figueiredo was stunned but immediately took Moraga to the ground. Moraga attempted a heel hook but "Deus da Guerra" escaped and ended the round on Moraga's back. In the second round the Brazilian once again took Moraga down. He opened up a huge cut on Moraga's head. Once the fighters went back to standing Figueiredo dropped Moraga immediately. The American tried to recover but was hit with a devastating uppercut and finished.

Decisions Wilson Reis in front of hometown crowd
FlyweightOther
April 14, 2018
Moraga defeated Wilson Reis via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC on FOX 29 on Saturday in Glendale, Arizona.
ANALYSIS
Moraga faded in Round 3, but Rounds 1 and 2 were as sharp as he has looked in his long UFC career. The 34-year-old Arizona native went about his business on the feet, and he did a solid job of defending himself on the mat despite the fact he allowed the powerful Reis to land six takedown attempts. A constant professional that is a solid fighter in all aspects of the sport, Moraga has long been one of the more underrated fighters on the UFC roster. Moraga turned 34 years old last month, but he is now riding a three-fight winning streak and remains in line for important fights in the UFC's thin flyweight division.

February 3, 2018
Moraga will fight Wilson Reis in a flyweight bout at UFC on FOX 29 on April 14 in Glendale, Arizona, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moraga (18-6) is in the midst of a two-fight win streak -- including an impressive upset victory over Magomed Bibulatov at UFC 216 in Las Vegas in October -- and looking to get back into title contention with a win over Reis. He'll face an opponent in Reis who is 22-8 in professional fights and looking to bounce back from consecutive losses to Henry Cejudo and Demetrious Johnson, respectively.
Pulls off huge upset at UFC 216

October 7, 2017
Moraga defeated Magomed Bibulatov via KO (punch) at 1:38 of Round 1 at UFC 216 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
A seasoned veteran that has fought for the UFC Flyweight Championship in the past, it should come as no surprise that Moraga was able to pull off the upset despite being a massive underdog. He connected with a wild left hook that cracked an unsuspecting Bibulatov in the face and ended the fight. Moraga has now won back-to-back fights following a three-fight losing streak. The 33-year-old remains a threat in the UFC's flyweight division.
To face Magomed Bibulatov at UFC 216
FlyweightOther
August 6, 2017
Moraga will face Magomed Bibulatov in a flyweight contest at UFC 216 on October 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Moraga hadn't scored a win since 2014 until gaining a unanimous decision victory over Ashkan Mohktarian in June. Now he is moving on to UFC newbie Magomed Bibulatov, who recently debuted with the promotion with a unanimous decision win over Jenel Lausa. Moraga has historically faced tough opponents such as Demetrius Johnson and Sergio Pettis but has struggled to gain wins in these challenging fights. Hopefully these more recent contests will help him polish his skills and move the No. 10 flyweight up in the division.
Dominant victory Saturday in New Zealand

June 10, 2017
Moraga defeated Ashkan Mohktarian via unanimous decision (30-25, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night 110 on Saturday in Auckland, New Zealand.
ANALYSIS
Moraga broke his three-fight losing streak in style. Facing an opponent who clearly wasn't on his level, Moraga dominated the fight in every area. He won the striking battle by a count of 73-15, scored on both of his takedown attempts, and racked up 7:48 of control time. It was a flawless performance. The next challenge for Moraga will be duplicating this success against better competition.
