LightweightUFC
September 2, 2017
Holbrook lost to Thibault Gouti via TKO (punches) at 4:28 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 115 on Saturday in Rotterdam.

Holbrook wanted to get a takedown and work from the top in this fight. Unfortunately he was never able to get close on his takedown attempts. Gouti controlled the striking game throughout the contest, and it was only a matter of time. Towards the end of the first round Gouti nailed a headkick that dropped Holbrook. Added to UFC Rotterdam against Thibault Gouti
LightweightUFC
August 13, 2017
Holbrook will face Thibault Gouti in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 115 on September 2 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
ANALYSIS
Holbrook maintains a 2-2 UFC record (12-2 overall) with two split decision victories and two KO/TKO losses called within 0:35 of the fight's start. He has historically preferred the ground game but has had trouble utilizing it since joining the promotion in 2015. While the American claims nine submission wins, his striking game is weak. If he can't take his opponents down to the mat, he will continue to struggle until something changes.

LightweightUFC
April 8, 2017
Holbrook lost to Gregor Gillespie via KO (punches) at 0:21 of Round 1 at UFC 210 on Saturday in Buffalo.
ANALYSIS
Holbrook, who has shown a questionable chin in the past, got cracked with a left hand right off the hop and he was never able to recover. Holbrook stunned Jake Matthews in his last fight in late November and on Saturday he was finished in 21 seconds. Expect the same inconsistency moving forward.
Upset Jake Matthews
LightweightUFC
November 26, 2016
Holbrook defeated Jake Matthews via unanimous decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Holbrook came into this fight as the biggest underdog on the card. He held his own in the striking department, and took advantage of Matthews on the ground. The Australian tried to control the pace with clinches and takedowns. However, Holbrook never stopped threatening Matthews with submissions, which clearly swayed the judges. With the victory, Holbrook improved to 2-1 in the UFC.
Andrew Holbrook: Steals Controversial Split Decision From Ramsey Nijem
LightweightUFC
July 25, 2015
Holbrook defeated Ramsey Nijem via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC on FOX 16 on Saturday in Chicago.
ANALYSIS
It was one of the poorer judge's decisions that you will ever seen. Holbrook certainly put forth a solid effort in his UFC debut, but there is no way that he won the fight. Holbrook got beat up on the feet and was taken down five times. The brightest spot in regards to Holbrook's game were his submission attempts. He showed great awareness on the ground and had Nijem in trouble on numerous occasions. Holbrook was game, but he didn't deserve the victory.
