Hector Santiago

Brazil
Statement win in UFC debut
Santiago defeated Lawrence Lui via KO (punches) at 0:52 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Shanghai, China.
ANALYSIS
Few could have seen this one coming. Making his UFC debut after fighting for no fewer than five different regional organizations in Brazil, Santiago looked calm and comfortable. He landed the more meaningful shots in Round 1 before really opening things up in Round 2. The straight right that dropped Lui prior to the stoppage was beautiful. Having all of eight professional fights under your belt at age 33 isn't a great sign, but six of Santiago's seven wins have come via stoppage (six knockouts, one submission).
