Nascimento may have deserved a better fate here, as he was the significant strike leader in each of the first two rounds and potentially the victim of an early stoppage with just over 30 seconds remaining. It was Abdullaev that was willing to sprint to the finish, however, and that's what ultimately did Nascimento in.
