Knockout win in UFC debut
Harris defeated Alvin Hines via TKO (punches) at 1:41 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Making his UFC debut in just his sixth professional fight, Harris looked great, albeit against a 34-year-old opponent who was coming off a 12-month USADA suspension. He fired off a low kick, followed by an uppercut which floored Hines and essentially ended the fight on the spot. Nothing in Harris' background would lead you to believe any sort of prolonged winning streak will be forthcoming here, but this was undoubtedly a quality start to his time with the company. The heavyweight division needs all the depth -- good or bad -- that it can find.
