Wins war in late-notice debut
Dorsainvil defeated Gauge Young via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Dorsainvil accepted this fight about a week ago, at which time he was working at Home Depot. It took Stan a little over a round to get going, but once he did, Young was in serious trouble. Dorsainvil lacks technical striking ability, often placing himself in harm's way while swinging for the bleachers, but he has a ridiculous amount of heart and will. In a fight between two evenly-matched guys, Dorsainvil won because he wanted it more. Still 26 years old, Stan looks like a super fun addition to the lightweight division.
