Terrance Chatman
The Answer
USA
Taps out in late-notice debut
Chatman lost to Anthony Wint via technical submission (arm-triangle choke) at 4:29 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
With all due respect to Chatman, he was brought in here to help prop up Wint on a little over a weeks' notice, and he did his job to perfection. Chatman did a reasonably effective job on the feet, but he gave up a takedown and was controlled quite easily on the mat before going to sleep. The 29-year-old Texan had some good moments for Fury FC on the regional scene, winning five of his six pro bouts prior to his UFC arrival. He should get another fight with the company due to his willingness to face Wint here on such short notice.
