The dynamic duo of Kahne and Sweet will take their show from Turner Motorsports over to JR Motorsports in 2013. The Cup star and rising Nationwide sensation will split the strong No. 5 Chevrolet team about 40/60 in the upcoming schedule. The two combined for three Top-5 finishes and 11 Top-10 finishes in their old Turner ride. There should be a noticeable increase in performance moving to the stronger JRM No. 5 team. Kahne could return to victory lane in this new ride and Sweet should improve on the two Top 10’s he posted in 2012. Mike Bumgarner, an 18-year veteran of Hendrick Motorsports, has been named crew chief for this dynamic duo. His veteran presence will further enhance the performance level of this team.
