Wilson (back) will not participate in Sunday's Indy 500 race, Nathan Brown of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Wilson sustained a fracture in his 12th thoracic vertebrae during practice, and he will be unable to race this weekend. The 32-year-old British driver will remain in the hospital overnight, awaiting further tests to reveal the full extent of the injuries sustained in today's crash.
